  • Most reliable and trouble free car ever!

By Jerry on Tuesday, April 08, 2014

This car is now 14 years old. It has never had a major problem. It has never failed to start, all of the systems still work at 100%. It has the same feel and power as it did when I first got it. The styling is such, that even though it may not look like a brand-new model, it looks like a newer car. I will keep it as long as possible. My fear is that if something happens, that it is totaled or stolen, I won't get its real value. It's worth a brand-new car. I have 120,000 miles on it. The dealer says I should expect 200,000 at the minimum. It doesn't burn a drop of oil, and the air-conditioning still will freeze you out. I have heard that this is considered the best SUV model Lexus has made. I cannot imagine a more reliable sturdy car.
  • Best car I've ever owned!

I've owned my 2000 Lexus RX 300 for 10 years. It has 182K on it currently. I just upgraded to a new Lexus, but it's very hard for me to let this car go. Luckily it's going to a family member. I am 65 years old and have owned many cars but this is by far the BEST car I've ever had the pleasure of driving. It still runs like a watch, it's quiet and never lets me down. It still looks great too (although some paint is starting to chip on the hood, which I can't blame on the car since it's 19 years old). I understand not many people are going to care about a car this old and this review, BUT I just had to review it because it's been a life saver for me. On to a car that's 16 years newer, and I hope to get the same great service out of it that I had in the old Lexus.
  • best buy you can get in a used car, exceptional .

my car has been rated by many dealers as an exceptional car, performance, looks comfort, its all there, suits my needs perfectly, excellent vehicle to own and drive and very reliable, i'm averaging around 25-27 miles per gallon, but most of that is due to real good maintenance and it probably helps that i'm a mechanic also so knowledge is nice to have, you can't go wrong with anything Toyota or Lexus builds and the first generation from 99-03 was considered to be the most stylish suv built so if you get a chance to buy one,do it,i wouldn't trade mine for any new vehicle on the road now, plus i now own 3 of them and none of them have been a disappointment to me, thanks for reading.
